Album Launch Performance

The purpose of the album launch is to create considerable interest in the album from major record labels and national media. Additionally the event will ensure Hollie is taken seriously by professionals. National press and major record labels and some celebrities will receive VIP invitations to the event, other guests will include the production team, investors, close family and friends and selected fans.

The launch will take place at the Roundhouse Studio Theatre, London, on Wednesday the 19th May. A total of 100 guests will watch Hollie perform songs from the album.

The performance will be proceeded by canopies and a meet and greet from Hollie and her family. The album will be unveiled, with photo opportunities for national press.

The venue has been selected for its location within London , its professional appearance and the facilities available.

VIP Invitations

The invitations will be to the highest standard, the package will include a full portfolio of photographs, and biography. Invitations to the major labels AR departments will include a copy of the album.

I’ve just come across a song that has been written as a tribute to Hollie. Written by JD Stenzel, the song has lines which include:

“Big things in a little package” and “She humbled even Simon Cowell”.

Here is Hollie Steel’s much anticipated performance of Edelweiss at the JSG Top 10 Awards Presentation in Hong Kong, which Vicky has uploaded to YouTube. Vicky has also provided me with the translation. The first video is the introduction, the second video is Hollie’s performance of Edelweiss.

It is great that there are lots of singers coming here to join us today. They are all very famous and talented. The following guest is one such examples. However she is very young.

Yes, you are right. She comes from Britain and was one of the final 10 in the final of the famous TV show, Britain’s…… Got Talent —- Hollie Steel.

Although Hollie is young, she sings beautifully. Today, she will be performing the song Edelweiss from the musical – The Sound Of Music. Please welcome this young and beautiful lady, Hollie Steel.

I don’t know about you, but watching Hollie singing so beautifully, in such a composed and polished way, in front of all those people in a foreign country, well, it brought a tear to my eye. Congratulations Hollie, you were stunning.

Vicky has kindly sent me some photos of Hollie Steel in Hong Kong yesterday.

The first  three photos are from The Worship Ceremony Of the JSG Top 10 Awards Show. The worship ceremony is a traditional ceremony that takes place to ensure that the show itself is successful.

The final four photos are from the rehearsal of the show.

Hollie Steel met Olivia in Hong Kong. Any of you who are regular visitors here or on Hollie’s Facebook page will know that Olivia is a huge fan of Hollie’s, so she was absolutely delighted to finally meet Hollie.

Olivia said on Facebook: “I got to see Hollie today and it was brill! We chatted a lot and Hollie gave her single to me which still isn’t available in Hong Kong!”

I have tried to use a free proxy server to view the video, but none of the ones I tried were working.

Hollie Steel will be performing in Hong Kong on January 16th. Vicky has kindly emailed me a link to a video of Hollie wishing a Happy New Year to all her fans in Hong Kong, and also a page from a magazine promoting Hollie’s appearance at the Jade Solid Gold (JSG) Top 10 Awards Show, which is one of the main Hong Kong pop music award shows.

Did Hollie Steel win Britains Got Talent?

Ok, i saw this little ten year old sing on YouTube and she’s amazing! I’ve never heard anything like her, but i never found out if she won. So did she win or not? Did she get to sing some more? I hope some people heard her and she’s continuing to sing!

I have replied to the question with this answer:

Hollie Steel is indeed amazing. She came sixth in the “Britain’s Got Talent” competition and has since, sponsored by her family, released a single “Where are you Christmas” that is still on sale in HMV and can be downloaded from Amazon or iTunes. She will be releasing an album this year. Full details about Hollie can be found on her website, and she also has an official Facebook page.

As many of you know, Dieter has been running a poll in the forum to find names for Hollie’s debut album. He has now shortlisted the nine most popular names, so I have added a new poll in order that you can choose which one you like the best. You also have the option to choose none of them, as I am nothing if not democratic.

This is just a bit of fun, the Steels will undoubtedly choose their own name for Hollie’s album which may well be “none of the above”, so please don’t take it too seriously.

An article in today’s Blackburn Citizen has confirmed what we already know – that Hollie will be releasing her debut album this year.

If a major record label does not pick up the option to release the album, Hollie’s family will release it on their own BB5 record label, named after the Accrington postcode.

Nina told the Citizen: “This year will be an amazing one for us. Last year Hollie was on national TV with Britain’s Got Talent and we now want to keep her profile as high as we can.

“The big thing for us this year is the album. It will definitely come out this year, even if we have to release it ourselves.

“Hopefully one day soon someone big will come along and sign her up. At the moment there are things and jobs that are coming along but nothing major.

“Hollie is just enjoying her singing and is happy, we are even planning to film some music videos to promote her.”
