Don't be too despondent Nina. Look at Hayley Westenra who busked on Christchurch streets in NZ at the age of 13 with her siblings. Look at what she has achieved now and has grown up to be such a lovely young lady.
These things take time and don't happen overnight. Make sure that Hollie continues and loves her singing and she will achieve her potential in time. They do say that all good things come to those who wait.
Enjoy your Christmas and know that Hollie brings great joy to many people who have heard her beautiful voice and look at her lovely face. She is very special. All the best to you and your family for 2010.

Happy New Year, I saw the Moonschadow Partielle Mondfinsternis after 8pm (7pm uktime),

I could not agree more Alex!
I did wonder why there was too much focus on the "UK charts" anyway and I have repeatedly suggested that Hollie is not a POP artist. This genre is not her bag. Albeit the cover song chosen was a dark/pop/rock xmas song, It was our original understanding that the very first version of Hollies backing track for this would be kept in the vein of a more acoustic/classical style. However this was not to be.. Having said that, we are fairly happy with the version that was done, though it was a bit of a shock for me and Hollie both when we first heard the finished commercial version of the xmas single. Anyhow, brighter and better things to come and more surprises I expect! ha ha. take care Alex....

I may be the only person who is happy Hollie didn't chart. Here's why. I honestly feel the charts are NOT about talent, but rather about packaging and marketing. It's not the kind of 'contest' Hollie needs to be a part of. She's a very different kind of musical artist, and putting all that energy and angst into 'charting' is time away from focusing on her talent, and focusing on her career, now just in its infancy. Charts are ridiculous, and I reiterate, they have zero to do with real talent. Had Hollie charted, her focus would switch to numbers, a disaster for an artist of her caliber and potential. Think bigger than the charts, Nina and Hollie. There is life way above and beyond them.

Hi Nina and Hollie, Allan spoke good, very nice! Yes I feel it too we will support you. Be not sad. Stay not in Sadness , and depressions.
Rest a whole time during the Holidays now, relax, celebries the Dinner, and songs , and Family.
Sleep well and long.
I have now got 2 (from 6 ordered CDs) and now they can work for Hollie, I will bring it to all my friends and let it play, that they hear and know you soon.
If they are sensibility, it will work like by all us fans, we (myself)cannot be a day or week, without hear any of Hollies Performances, which are since April and May in youtube. I like to hear your voice your lovely Stimme, and watch your smiling during singing (by the Edelweiß ot Whishing)
And the next performance make not earlier, as you are recovered, rehabilietiert, erholt from the exhaust last weeks. In the TV Performance in Manchester, Hollie looks very tired. please sleep ans relax much time now.
It is no duty to sinfg for us, it shall be Joy, enjoyful joy.
Liebe Grüße Haselmaus an Weihnachten 2009

Dear Hollie and family. I so agree with Sharon. It has certainly not been working hard for nothing. Hollie is a wonderful gift to all who listens and especially to us fans who had the chance to chat with her and every day listen to her singing. Be careful, Nina, not to focus on the negative side when you go public. Especially at Christmas times there are loads of traditional songs which are only played in that short time. To get among them is not easy. By next year "Where are you Christmas" will certainly be played a lot. In the meantime Hollie will truly have established herself as the brilliant singer she is! I understand your disappointment right here and now but don´t let that bring you down. Hollie is a rising star! Have a wonderful Christmas all of you. Lots of love, Allan
