Hollie Steel to Perform “Where are you Christmas?” on Sky TV

Hollie is to appear and perform the new single on the Today show on Sky Channel 203 Monday 14th. Details to follow.
In other news, Aled Jones has sadly declined the opportunity to play Hollie’s single on his Radio 2 show. Aled said:
Many thanks for your message and call. I have listened to Hollie’s track and while it is lovely, I dont think I will be putting it in our shows as there is just so much big name competition with Xmas music.
If you would like to let Aled know about what you think of his decision not to play Hollie’s single, Léopold has very kindly provided me with the contact link for his show. My advice would be to explain to Aled why you think he should play Hollie’s single, and not be rude to him personally because of his decision. Remember, at the end of the day we would like his help, so there is little to be gained by being unnecessarily antagonistic.
And finally, Hollie will be chatting in the forum on Sunday 13th December at 5pm.

I have just contacted Aled Jones regarding his decision not to play Hollies single , he was unknown at Hollie’s age . If the radio stations didn’t play his song he would not be where he is today.

This does not surprise me.. After all, Aled has a xmas single out at the moment who he has co performed with Terry Wogan, albeit for charity. I am frustrated and concerned at the same time by these organisations which appear (allegedly) to condone conflicts of interest and behaviour for it’s employees or as in this case “radio DJ’s and presenters; conducive to a form of rigging the charts by means of excluding air play for potential competition almost to the point of “cartel” and “commodity”, a kind of full on control freakery. One thing this whole “Hollie” saga has taught me is that this “show” business is rife with brick walls, obstacles, politically manipulative and untrustworthy individuals and organisations who will go to any lengths to eliminate competition at any cost. !!Keep fighting, we will break the mould!!. If they want “dog eat dog” they will get a Jack Russel, because when it bites it will not let go and it will keep doing so!
