Hollie Steel Interviewed by 2BR Radio in Burnley

Author: Hollie Steel was this morning interviewed about her debut single “Where are you Christmas?” on 2BR Radio. Nina said yesterday on Facebook:
8.15 am Hollie is being interviewed by 2BR Radio in Burnley. I’m not 100% sure but I think they are going to play the Christmas Single. Fingers crossed.

I have just check out the website and the interview is available online. For me, it worked in Internet Explorer but not Firefox. The interviewer was Jim Coulson and you can check out the interview here. It’s really worth a listen, Hollie gives Jim Coulson a singing lesson which is adorable, then advises him he should stick with radio presenting!
It was nice to see the photo of Hollie that 2BR Radio used on their website was the one I took when I went to see Hollie and her family which I posted it on Wikipedia. It brought back memories

I like the interview but i was hopeing that they would have played Where are you Christmas but they did not. They only played on the radio but he did put it on the website. oh well i will hear it when my cd come in the mail.
Loved the interview especially Hollie teaching Jim how to sing. What a brilliant voice. She even makes scales sound exciting and beautiful. I have to say that Hollie is getting better and better doing interviews and she has the most delightful laugh, which, like her voice, is also very musical. She’s just so full of life.
Mandy, I think you can add, amongst all of your other manifold talents, portrait photographer. You did a wonderful job composing the picture that 2BR radio used. Hollie always looks so animated behind a microphone.

It was a good interview. That’s exactly the media promotion she needs. I hope that many people tuned in to the program at 8:15. Of course, they did not play her song on the website because it would have been illegal.
Good, good, nice to hear her relaxed and in high quality again. I’ve been very upset by the poor youtube videos uploaded recently – they left me thinking that Hollie’s singing has gone downhill. I was very upset and apologize for any bad language I may have used.
I am sure next year she will release a CD with Christmas songs. At least, that’s what I wish to receive as a present for next Christmas
I don’t think Hollie’s singing has been going downhill Georgi, it’s just that the recordings which were available to us were made with equipment with limited capacties. That’s why I’m looking forward so much to getting the CD’s which were recorded in a decent studio. I have to agree with you that Hollie has been looking quite tired lately. Let’s hope that after Christmas, she’ll get a well-deserved rest and time to relax and do just ordinary things every regular 11-year old kid does.
I enjoyed the interview but sjame we could not hear the single.
You can stream the radio staion through your media player and listen to Hollies song when it comes on. Not sure how often they play it though.
On the subject of the videos I rather enjoyed the lastest video uploads, especially Joes from Preston regardless of quality. As I am aware the weather was not the best as you can see by Hollie wearing a big coat. I for one am very greatful for the loyal fans that travel to see Hollie and take theses videos. I wish I could but with my location and work it is very difficult

Hollie’s single is available for MP3 download from amazon.co.uk for just 68p
I guess if one downloads the single the download will count towards the charts, too.
I may download the single and give the song a review on the amazon.co.uk. I am still wondering why the price of the CD is so high.
I tried to purchase the MP3 but amazon.co.uk said “We’re sorry. We could not process your order because of geographical restrictions on the product which you were attempting to purchase. Please refer to the terms of use for this product to determine the geographical restrictions. We apologize for the inconvenience. ” The MP3 is available only to UK base customers. No luck.

But you can also Dave d’Mello ask that he ordered it for you und send you pay with paypal.
That is much cheaper than 68 Pound or mean you penny for the dowmload?
