Hollie says “Thank you for the videos!”
Hollie Steel has added a message on the site, which I’m reproducing here so you don’t miss it:
Dear kevin and everyone

has anyone got icq or something like that
I can’t wait to hear Hollie sing “God Help the Outcast” from Disney’s the Hunchback of Notrodame I heard Heidi Mollenhauer’s version & I think it’s a pritty song. I bet that Hollie’s version will sound much more prettier.
of course hollie will sing it much better.
Glad you like the videos Hollie im sure everybody that has made one put in a lot of time and hard work . I cant wait to hear your new song , are you goin to put it on youtube and upload it to this page ? . I am currently building a new website as the bebo and myspace are down due to a problem we had . but problem well on way to being fixed
love David and Sean Hollie Steel fans
Hollie has expressed her desire to record a version of god help the outcasts. So i bet we are all on youtube looking for a version.
here is a video i made with the original key changed so that it is more in line with the key that Hollie sings
this is a sample of how it may sound when Hollie sings it

yeah i know that song i watched the movie too, its the rigth song for hollie.
Dear Hollie,
Consider taking the negative on-line comments as a sign of the remarkable interest in you. If people are willing to watch your videos and take the time to make a comment, even if unkind, then you have succeeded in piquing their interest in you. The last thing you want is indifference. That is a clear sign of failure.
All famous people receive negative comments. The proportion seems to increase with the level of fame. In large part, the criticism towards you stems from your second chance and not your performances. In fact, many of the detractors admit that you are a beautiful singer even while they are berating your crying. I think it very funny that you are so good that some can’t believe you were just 10 when on BGT and insist that you must be 12 or older. That is a very great, if indirect, compliment, indeed.
Are you aware that your video clips are still receiving many thousands of views each day? Are you also aware that many people extol your voice as not just good but the most beautiful they have ever heard of any child, (including me). The America’s Got Talent auditions have just finished here and several very good child singers appeared (especially an 8 year-old Hawaiian girl in the last episode) but none match your vocal abilities. I’m saying this not to puff your vanity but only to give you the confidence to believe in yourself and not listen to the bullies.
I’ll say one more thing and I’ll try to have done with the compliments. You made friends with Susan Boyle. Do you think she was fairly treated by the press? Do you think she deserved the rash of nasty comments that followed? She is loved even more now in the U.S. because she didn’t give in to her bullies and had the courage to persevere in her dreams. Everyone predicts she will have a great success here and all over the world. You triumphed over the bullies at school; you triumphed over your nerves in the BGT semi-finals; we all believe you have the courage to triumph over the juvenile cyber bullies as well.
Since you only have four songs on video so far (five, if one includes “Do Re Me”), all of your fans are very excited that you are practising more to perform. “God help the outcsts” is an excellent choice (cause you are very, very good at the high notes at the end of songs).
Please don’t stop your dancing. When, in a few years, I come to see you in Wicked, I am sure I will see a graceful as well as a beautiful Elphaba with a wonderful voice.
I just thought of something funny. Hollie, when you audition for the role of Elphaba, you can tell the producers that you already know how to turn green.
here is my newest video for hollie:

Well said Mike. As you said marketing folks always say bad publicity is better then no publicity. I believe the tour was great for Hollie’s image. People that didn’t know what to think fell in love with her performances.
Great work Kevin. I especially liked the last one.
thank you joe culbert, i like the scond one more too, because of the text, but i think hollie is something spezial. but i think she would say the same like in the text about herself.
can i ask you all from were you are, i´m from leverkusen in germany it next to cologne and every year i visit liverpool.
I’m from Cape Coral Florida USA, it’s to the west of Fort Myers in SW Florida. Disney World is about 150 miles from there. It takes about 3-4 hours to get there, depending on trafic.
I forgot to mention that we get lots of german tourest & sometimes i see some british tourest as well. They come mostly for the beaches as you can tell by their swimsuits & sun tan. Anyways i work in a grocery store in the bakery & i bag groceries too. I was talking to 3 sets of british tourest & i mentioned BGT & Hollie Steel & that i love her singing & she’s my all time favorite artist, they knew her & some of them told me that she should have won BGT & i told them that yes i agree.
thank you nick for telling me from where you are, it´s a really nice place, and yeha i agree hollie shoul´d have won BGT but i think it´s ok that she has not won it because i think she can do her self really good job.
Hello from Des Moines, Iowa, USA. I just want to say that is not just Britain that loves Hollie. I was just captivated by that amazing voice. I am a big fan of theater and hope that one day I can be graced to see Hollie in a lead role. Personally, my “hobby” is I am a Medieval Knight/Jouster in America. I would be honored to carry Lady Steel’s favor into combat any day! Blessings… Arthur
yes it´s true not only britains love hollie, i mean i´m german, but it´s nice to know that also americans love her.

Dear Hollie.
I am 49 years old from Iceland and in my opinion you are THE BEST young singer in the world. Since I first saw your audition for BGT I have been your fan and I can hardly wait for your first CD.
I wish you all the best in the future.
