What should Hollie Steel’s debut album be called?

When Simon Cowell made comments about Hollie Steel’s performance on Britain’s Got Talent, he frequently started his remarks with: “Hollie, Hollie, Hollie!”

Kane, Hollie’s manager, has asked Dieter has set up a forum thread named “Hollie, Hollie, Hollie!” for people to suggest names for Hollie’s album. The link to the suggestion list is here.

As soon as we have enough suggestions, the best names will be selected and we will run a poll on them.

Manchester Evening News have posted a number of interviews on Youtube with Hollie Steel and her mum, Nina. They don’t contain any really recent news, but they are interesting to watch, especially if you have not seen them before.

I know I have posted a video of Hollie Steel singing in Manchester before, but Léopold brought to my attention this lovely quality video of Hollie singing Edelweiss with 2 Grand in Manchester on June 14th, so I just had to show it to you all. Hollie looks so sweet in it!

Nevin has kindly uploaded three new Hollie Steel videos from the Britain’s Got Talent tour to share with everyone.

I understand from Hollie’s Facebook page that Hollie was interviewed on Granada Television on Thursday morning. If anyone has recorded the interview, it would be nice if it could be uploaded to Youtube so we could share it with everyone.

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that Dieter has transferred over his Hollie Steel Forum site (formerly at www.holliefans.com) to be a part of this Hollie Steel fan site. Everything on the forum is as it was before, and it can now be accessed directly from the Forum tab. Dieter has also added a chat function.

I don’t really know much about setting up forums, so it is great to have the benefit of Dieter’s expertise which will add an extra dimension to this website.

I’m sure you will all join with me in welcoming Dieter on board!

Hollie Steel Fan Site – Subscribe

I have just been testing out the new subscribe function I have added to this site, so that if I get any Hollie Steel news that I think you would find interesting, I can send out a newsletter.

So I sent a test message.  I was only intending to send the test to myself. Sadly, I managed to send the test message to everyone who has ever left a message on the site. Here is what it said:

So, my apologies for sending you rubbish.

Which brings me onto my next point – if you have ever left a comment on a post, your email has been automatically added to the mailing list. If you do not want to receive the Newsletter ever again – although hopefully it will be a little more informative next time -  just drop an email to  and I will take you off the mailing list and you will never hear from me again.

Alternatively, if you want to subscribe, you can use the box on the top right of this page.

Just to reiterate, if you have ever left a comment on any of the posts, you should automatically be subscribed to the Newsletter list. However, you can always try resubscribing if you’re worried – it won’t hurt.

There are two new websites dedicated to Hollie Steel that you might be interested in visiting. The first Hollie Steel site is HollieSteelOnline.com, a site that has been put together  by the company who will be promoting the album that Hollie is currently working on. It is a very attractive site with animations and videos, and well worth a look.

The second site is by Scott, a regular visitor to this site. It is a very nicely organised and attractive website and you can view it here: HollieSteelFans.co.uk.
